Again I’m drawn to point out that too many are using social media in increasingly anti-social ways.
To Tweet or post on Facebook your thought, comments, or plugs for your content without any interest in generating a dialog only goes to prove to the unadopted masses what a ridiculous construct social media has become.
You’re on your soapbox, I’m on mine. She’s on hers. He’s on his. We’re all shouting our thoughts into the cloud but we aren’t responding or even listening to the conversations we’re trying to create
I recently attended a presentation by Gary Vaynerchuk where he clearly stated that he doesn’t even bother to use Twitter as intended. To quote: “If I follow you on Twitter I don’t follow you on Twitter.”
We’re all talking But, is anybody talking to each other any more?
